What Voters Need to Know About Ali Aljarrah & Passaic County

Our universe targets a voter universe designed to maximize support among progressive, coalition-based, and high-potential primary voters while limiting resources spent on inconsistent or unlikely persuadable voters.

This universe includes registered Democrats who participated in at least two of the last four Democratic primary elections, as well as unaffiliated voters who turned out in 2023 and demonstrate progressive-leaning views on immigration.

The targeting strategy also prioritizes key coalition communities, including Muslim voters and likely African American, Asian, Hispanic, and Native American Democrats and unaffiliated voters who have participated in at least one primary election over the last four years.

In addition, the universe includes younger Democratic voters between the ages of 18 and 20 who participated in the 2025 election cycle, recognizing the growing importance of youth turnout and engagement in progressive elections.

To improve efficiency and persuasion potential, the universe narrows down voters over the age of 70 who do not align with progressive positions on immigration, and those over the age 50 who did not participate in any of the 2021, 2022, or 2023 general elections, as these individuals are less likely to turn out in a competitive primary environment.

Taken together, this approach produces a focused and strategically efficient voter universe of approximately 40,000 voters.
